Luella Cox Dacus

Luella Cox Dacus, age 92 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at her residence.

Luella was born on November 15, 1929, daughter of the late William James Cox and Dorothy Jane Lilly. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Aaron H. Dacus. Luella was a homemaker and loved her family especially her children and grandchildren.

Luella is survived by: her three sons, Eddy H. Dacus, William G. Dacus and his wife Deb, and Perry Dacus all of Calhoun, GA; ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 3 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Cheyenne Russell officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery.

Pallbearers serving include: MicKayla Collins, Mason Anthony, Lani Collins, Thomas Pierce, Russ Jones, and Chandler Jackson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
