Mrs. Louise Reed Faith, age 82 of Calhoun, passed away Thursday, May 23rd in Gordon Hopital. Louise was born on November 20, 1930 in Gordon County. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Reed and Addie Lewis Lakey. Louise was a charter member of the Eastgate Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also known for having a “green thumb” in her flower garden. Survivors include: her husband, James W. Faith of Calhoun; four daughters, Nancy Luckett of Calhoun, Sherry Chapman and her husband George of Lilburn, GA, Kathy Nielsen of Calhoun and Gina Daniel and her husband Alan of Calhoun; one brother, Jerry Lackey; six grandchildren, Lee Chapman, Halie Black and her husband Tyron, James Chapman and his wife Mandy, Rebekah Feuerbach and her husband Marc, Clay Daniel and Logan Daniel; seven great-grandchildren, Meri Kathryn Black, Claire Chapman, Jacob Black, Will Feuerbach, Abby Black, Leah Chapman and Addie Feuerbach; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, May 26th at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Clinton Green and Reverend Brent Davis officiating. A eulogy will be given by her granddaughter Halie Black. Music will be provided by Gina Daniel, Rebekah Feuerbach and Donnie Nesbitt. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 25th from 5:00 – 9:00pm at Thomas Funeral Home. Pallbearers serving include grandsons: Lee Chapman, James Chapman, Logan Daniel, Clay Daniel, Marc Feuerbach and Tyron Black. Honorary Pallbearers include: great-grandsons, Jacob Black and Will Feuerbach.
