Louise Carpenter Hall, age 82, of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday morning December 25th at Regency Park in Dalton.
Louise was born December 15, 1931 in Conasauga, Tennessee, daughter of the late Norman Leon Carpenter and Lucille Inscore Carpenter. She had lived in Gordon County for the past 25 years coming from Atlanta. Louise was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and was employed at Gazzar Advertising prior to her retirement.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Hall; brothers, Ross Carpenter and twins, Ray and Fay Carpenter; sister in law, Etta Lee Carpenter; and nephews, James Ross Carpenter Jr., and Beverly R. Carpenter.
Survivors include her great niece and caregiver, Holly Carpenter Roberts of Calhoun; great nephew, Blain Vinson of Calhoun; nieces, Karen McDonald and her husband Jim of Calhoun, Marsha Leonard of Dalton, Norma Cross, and Deborah Carpenter; and nephew, Larry Carpenter. Her special caregiver, Shirley Carpenter and her special friend, Dwight Fuller also survives.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 28th at 11am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Bankson and Mark Talley officiating. Burial will follow in the Boanerges Baptist Cemetery, 234 Boanerges Church Road, Old Fort, Tennessee at 2:00pm.
Pallbearers serving include Larry Carpenter, Norman Carpenter, Blain Ross Vinson, Kansas Serritt, Gary Wood, and Dennie Roberts.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 4 until 8pm.
