Lois Greeson Johnson

Thursday, February 18, 2010 Mrs. Lois Greeson Johnson, age 88 of Jonesboro and formerly of Gordon County died at 2:37 PM, Tuesday, February 16. Lois was born in Gordon County, May 6, 1921, daughter of the late Claude A. Greeson and Lou Ella Barton Greeson. Her husband, William D. “Bill” Johnson, also preceded her in death September 2002. She was a member of the Resaca Church of Christ. Lois is survived by one daughter, Betty Hunt of Jonesboro; two brothers, Everett Greeson and Ervin Greeson; and one sister Annie Ruth Greeson all of Resaca; three grandchildren, Larry Hunt, Pat Wood, Greg Wood; and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, February 19 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Minister Jule Medders officiating. Burial will be in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving include; Larry Hunt, Jerry Bowen, Danny Pennant, Dickie Bone, Scott Bone , and Joey Fowler.
