Lisa Kay Ooten, age 30, tragically passed away on January 17, 2025, in a car accident alongside her beloved sister, Kayla Jo Nicole Dutton. Born on January 29, 1994, in Calhoun, Georgia, Lisa was the daughter of Jimmy Brackett II and Jodi Ooten. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend, whose love for her family and her joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her.

Lisa was the proud and loving mother of Kinlee, James, and Kenya, and she found great joy in teaching her children to appreciate the beauty of the outdoors. Whether it was camping, mudding, riding four-wheelers, or simply exploring nature, Lisa created memories with her children that will be cherished forever. Her playful, adventurous spirit made every moment spent together feel like an adventure.

She was also the beloved sister of Matthew, Jessy, Kayla, Susan, Jimmy III, and Jacalyn, with whom she shared a close and loving bond. Her family meant everything to her, and her loyalty and care for them were unwavering.

Lisa worked as a cheerful server at Waffle House, where her infectious smile and kind heart made her a favorite among both coworkers and customers. She lived between Calhoun, Georgia, and Cleveland, Tennessee, as she balanced work and raising her children with grace and love.

Lisa is survived by her father, Jimmy, her children, her siblings, and her boyfriend, Kyle Ellis, who was a loving and supportive presence in her life. Lisa's bright energy and her deep love for her family will never be forgotten.
