Linda Joyce Fowler Young

 Linda Joyce Fowler Young, age 75 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on November 21, 2024 at her residence.

 Linda was born on June 29, 1949 in Gordon County, GA, daughter of the late John Raymond Fowler and Inez Harris Fowler. In addition to her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by: her husband, Larry David Young; son, Timothy Ray Meadows; sister, Jane Bowman; and brother, Sgt. George Raymond Fowler. Linda was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and planting flowers. The whole family was very close and always came together and took care of each other. Linda loved and adored her grandbabies.

 Linda is survived by: her daughter, Sonya Young; son, Shane (Michelle) Young; two grandchildren, Dustin Young and Christina Young; five great-grandchildren, Hazel Marshall, Emily Young, Coraline LeCroy, Caroline LeCroy, and Athnea LeCroy; sister, Janet (Mike) Shivers; brothers-in-law, Donald Bowman and Tony Young; and sisters-in-law, Sybil Evans and Mary Lou Young. 

 The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 1 PM until 3 PM at Thomas Funeral Home. 

 Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 3 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.

 Pallbearers serving include: Dustin Young, Jesse Bowman, Donald Bowman, Mike Shivers, Jeffery Wyatt, Tony Davis, Shane Young, Keith Wyatt, and Brent Wyatt.
