Linda “MeMe” Weller, age 70 of Resaca, passed away at her residence Tuesday, December 12, 2017.
Linda was born on August 14, 1947 in Miami, Florida. She was a former thoroughbred jockey in Ocala, Florida. In addition, she retired in 2012 as a Quality Control Manager from E-One firetrucks. She was a graduate of Sprayberry High School. Linda loved her family, crocheting, horses, her dog “Boogie” and Calhoun Yellow Jacket football.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Aleshia and Mike Rutledge of Resaca; grandchildren, Carrington and her husband Adam Cook of Adairsville, Drew Rutledge of Resaca, Tiffany and her husband Micheal Devotie of Piedmont, Alabama; great-grandchildren, Keeghan Cook, Ryleigh Cook, Colby Devotie and Harlee Devotie; Identical twin sister, Cindy and her husband Larry Pass of Armuchee, Georgia; sister, Marty and her husband Ralph Snowden of Fitzgerald, Georgia; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Bobbie and her husband Eddie Robertson.

A celebration of life will be conducted Friday, December 15, 2017 at 5:00 PM from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 15, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
