Linda Gail Merritt

Linda Gail Merritt, age 63 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at her residence. Gail was born on August 21, 1953 in Fulton County to the late William Harvey Burns and Peggy Nell King. She was employed by Cowboys and All American Truck Stop for several years. In addition to her parents, Gail is also proceeded in death by her husband Sammy Ferguson. She is survived by two sons, Robert Coursey of Adairsville and Danny Coursey of Calhoun; three daughters, Michelle Coursey, Kimberly Merritt and Jessica Phillips; three brothers, Arthur Burns of Marietta, Gerald Burns of Griffin and Gary Burns of Kennesaw; one sister, Joanne Rose of Kingston; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
