Linda Hufstetler

Linda Fay Hufstetler, age 66 of Plainville, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in Redmond Regional Medical Center. Linda was born on June 6, 1947 in Flat Rock, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Robert Travis and Mary Ellett Travis. She was a member of the Meadowdale Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Travis. Survivors include: her husband, Gary N. Hufstetler of Plainville; one son, Chris Anthony and his wife Jin of Charleston, SC; one daughter, Misty Gallman and her husband Brindt of Calhoun; two step-sons, Joseph Hufstetler and Brian Hufstetler and his wife, Megan both of Plainville. One brother, Bob Travis of Pensacola, Fl.. Four sisters, Jo Guinn of South Pittsburg, TN, Nell Jordan of Cleveland, TN, Kate Hammons of Chattanooga, TN and Marsha May of South Pittsburg, TN; eight grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, July 19th at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Dr. Stephen Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in Scott Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Thomas Funeral Home.
