Linda F. Hartley

Saturday, February 26, 2011 Linda F. Hartley, age 68 of Calhoun passed away Friday, February 25 in Gordon Hospital. Linda was born in Gordon County October 16, 1942, daughter of the late Luther J. Franks and Jessie Dean Franks. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert J. Bryant and James Hartley, a grandson, Justin Cain and a son in law, Thomas G. Chester. Linda was formerly employed by Coronet Carpets of Dalton and retired with 31 years of service. Linda is survived by her husband, Robert Hartley of Calhoun; one son, Christopher "Luke" Hartley of Chatsworth; two daughters, Missy Grigsby and her husband Leonard of Chatsworth and Ginger H. Chester of Calhoun; one sister, Carol Frazier of Dalton; six grandchildren, Casey and Anthony Cain, Stephanie, Keith, and Brett Hartley, and Cierra Brown. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 28 at 1:00 in the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverends Ryan Sanford and Tim Sanford officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be chosen from the local American Legion friends. They are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:45 PM Monday.
