Leslie W. Rush

Leslie W. Rush passed away Saturday evening, March 9, at the Gordon County Hospital in Calhoun, GA from complications from cancer. Leslie was born May 24, 1937 in Stanton, Michigan. Leslie has 3 sons, Leslie W. Rush II (Buck) wife Pam in Greenville, MI, Robert Ryan Rush (Ryan) wife Lorri in Pendleton, SC, Matthew Rush (Matt) wife Tracy in Calhoun, GA., and 2 daughters, Barbara Howe (Barb) and Gordon (Gordie), in Stanton, MI and Donna Orwig husband Richard (Rich) in Sheridan, Mi He also has 2 brothers, Alvin Rush wife Margaret in Stanton, MI and Richard Rush wife Cathy in Greenville, and 2 sisters Doris Hall in Belding MI and Joanne Rush Peeples in Sheridan MI., a loving companion Bonnie Allmon and her daughter Melissa of Calhoun, Ga. Leslie has17 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Leslie attended the East Calhoun Church. He was a private truck driver for many years in Michigan before moving to the Gordon County area in 1976 where he worked for Reeve's Trucking Company until his retirement.
