Leonard Warren

Leonard Warren, age 87, of the Plainville community, passed away Wednesday morning June 21^st at his residence.

Leonard was born June 20, 1936, son of the late Paul “Edward” Warren and Sarah Johnson Warren. He was a member of the Calhoun First Baptist Church and prior to his retirement was the owner and operator of Warren Tire Service.  

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sons, Terry and David Warren and his great-granddaughter, Lexi Neal.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Jean Warren; his children, Michael (Gina) Warren, Glenn (Lynn) Warren, Kenny (Bonnie) Warren, Diane (David) Yarbrough, and Chris (Karina) Warren; grandchildren, Kristin (Robbie) Burrage, Derek (Erin) Yarbrough, Wesley (Marit) Warren, Miranda (Joey) Neal, Kelsey Warren, Matthew Warren, Austin Warren, and Brooke Warren; great-grandchildren, Harvey Warren, Felix Warren, Gabe Burrage, Kaylie Neal, Peyton Yarbrough, and Avery Yarbrough.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 until 7pm at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday June 24th at 2pm in Scott Cemetery with Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating. Derek Yarbrough, Matthew Warren, Austin Warren, David Yarbrough, Wesley Warren, Peyton Yarbrough, and Joey Neal serving as pallbearers.
