Leon Oswald Christensen

Wednesday, January 02, 2008 Mr. Leon Oswald Christensen, age 82 of 654 Guess Rd., Ranger, Ga. died Wednesday January 2nd. at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Christensen was born in Kalispell, Montanta on March 19, 1925 son of the late Halvard Amelius and Alma Lockron Christensen. He was retired from Rouche and Son Auction Co. where he was a supervisor and was a Veteran of the Korean War receiving the Purple Heart serving with the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife Evelyn Cathey Christensen of Ranger, a step-daughter; Diann Guess and her husband Max of Ranger , a brother Allen Christensen and his wife Dorothy of Bremerton, WA, a sister; Myrtle Miller of Grant”s Pass, Oregon along with several nieces and nephews. The family will will have visitation at the Thomas Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 5th.
