Len Thomas Shadrick

Len “Homie” Shadrick, age 54 of Resaca, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at his residence. Len was born on May 14, 1962 in Gordon County, to Mary Frances Smith Higgins and the late Frank A. Shadrick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his adopted daughter, Jennifer Harris. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Sugar Valley. Len is survived by his mother, Mary Higgins and her husband, C.M. of Calhoun; brother, David Shadrick and his wife Isabel of Calhoun; sister, Deborah Patton; half-sister, Charlotte Higgins; nieces and nephews, Shelley Franks, Shane Patton, Keisha Swim, Mark Stanley and Justin Stanley; four great-nephews also survive; step-sister, Shelia Dyer and her husband Wayne; step-brothers, Randy Higgins and Jerry Higgins all of Calhoun. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, April 1st at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Lamar Patton. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Shane Patton, Harlon Patton, Derik Ray, Jeffery Gilbert and Charles Mashburn.
