Lemma Frances Wambach

Lemma Frances Wambach, age 89, of Calhoun. Died Wednesday evening June 11th at Heartland Hospice in Cartersville. Mrs. Wambach was born in Patoka Township, Indiana, on September 11, 1918. Daughter of the late Joseph Webster and Bessie Mae Hopkins Johnson. She was a homemaker who was preceded in death by her first husband, Eldon Deffendall and her second husband, Edward Wambach. She is survived by one son, John L. Deffendall of Bradenton, Fl.. One daughter, Betty Rapp of Calhoun. One brother, Richard W. Johnson of Evansville, Indiana. Eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday June 14th at 3 PM from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Terrell Colston officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.
