Lelia Mae Knight

Lelia Mae Knight, age 103 of Juliette, GA and formerly of Calhoun, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at her residence. Lelia was born on November 3, 1912 in Gordon County to the late James and Ida Shamlee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Knight; and second husband, Hugh Morris. She was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church, and was retired from Lockheed Martin. She is survived by her two sons, Jack Knight and his wife Sharon, and Edward Knight and his wife Rita all of Macon; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, September 3rd at 1 PM at Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Wesley Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 AM until the funeral hour at 1 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
