Leland Dennis Beason

Leland Dennis Beason, age 66, of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at his home.

 Dennis was born on February 27, 1958, in Calhoun, GA, the son of Kenneth Hall Beason and Carol Dean Cochran Shugart. Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, Dallie Lamar Beason. Dennis was employed at the United States Post Office for over 35 years. He loved watching NASCAR, as well as working on cars. 

 In addition to his parents, survivors also include two daughters, Jessica Nichole Renner and her husband Nathan Renner, Courtney Renee Sexton and her husband Ernest Sexton; two sisters, Deborah Lynne Brown & her husband Darrell Brown, Drena Leigh McPhail & husband Joe McPhail; two nephews,  Larry Jason Johnson and Jody Mitchell MilFord; one great nephew, Slater Autry MilFord; and six grandchildren, Breanna, Evan , Kinsley, Chloe-Jean, Mack, and Landon.

 The graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, July 10th at 1 PM, in Fain Cemetery with Walter Printup officiating.

 The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 10th from 11 to 1 PM, in the chapel at Thomas Funeral Home. 

 Pallbearers serving include Darrell Brown, Joe McPhail, Ernest Sexton, Jason Johnson, Jody Milford, and Nathan Renner.
