Leah Elizabeth Wubben

Tuesday, May 12, 2009 Mrs. Leah Wubben age 88 of Calhoun, Ga..and formerly of Mackinaw, Il, died Monday May 11 in Gordon Health Care. Leah was born in Tazwell County, Il, to the late Percy and Eva Newell on July 26, 1920. She married Charles Wubben and he preceded her in death as did one sister; Floss and brothers; Dale, Sam, Percy, Amon and Donald. Survivors include her daughter; Delores and Fred Worley of Calhoun, Son Gary and Nancy Wubben of Michigan City, Indiana, one brother; Jack and Darlene Newell, sisters; Bonnie and Calvin Anderson and Leota and Jack Cunningham of E. Peoria, Il. 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday May 15th. from the Mackinaw Methodist Church in Mackinaw, Il. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 until the Funeral Hour Haensel Funeral Home in Mackinaw, Il. has charge of the arrangements. Thomas Funeral Home has charge of the local arrangements.
