Laurence Daniel "Bubba" Mauldin

Laurence Daniel “Bubba” Mauldin, age 71 of Calhoun, GA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at CHI Memorial Hospital in Fort Oglethorpe, GA following complications from surgery.

Laurence was born on December 12, 1949, son of the late Henry Mauldin and Ruth Mauldin Holcomb. In addition to his parents, Laurence was also preceded in death by his infant son, George Kenneth Mauldin.

Laurence is survived by: his fiancé, Cindy Edge Pass; one son, Laurence Henry “Hank” Mauldin and his wife Janna of Calhoun, GA; one daughter, Robin Mauldin Montgomery and her husband Justin of Spartanburg, SC; one sister, Lucia Mauldin Eastham and her husband Gary of Calhoun, GA; one brother, Kemp Mauldin of Calhoun, GA; and eight grandchildren. Nephew, Daniel Kemp Mauldin and his wife Sara of Canton and his niece, Mary Mauldin of New Orleans, La.

The family will receive friends Sunday May 23rd from 2 until 5 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside Service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 2nd at 10:30 AM from The Georgia National Cemetery with Military Rites. Reverend Howard Strickland officiating.
