Laura Mae Medlin Dixon

Laura Mae Medlin Dixon, age 53 of the Red Bud Community, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Advent Health Gordon following several years of declining health.

Laura was born on June 28, 1968 daughter of the late Max and Peggy Reeves Medlin. In addition to her parents, Laura was also preceded in death by: her two brothers, Donny Medlin and Ellis Medlin; one sister, Debbie Hall; and one nephew, Kevin Long.

Laura is survived by: her loving husband, Rod Dixon to whom she was married to for 28 years; one son, Renith Hendrix; one daughter, Christy Robbins and her husband Wayne; one sister, Pam Long and her husband Lamar; two brothers, Tommy Medlin and Ronnie Medlin; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Laura was a loving mother, wife and sister to her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.

A Celebration of the Life of Laura will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home.
