Larry D. Jones

Wednesday, July 26, 2006 Mr. Larry D. Jones, Sr. age 61 of 592 G. Knight Rd., Ranger, Ga. died peacefully on July 25th. 2006 at his residence. Larry was born in Harrisburg, Ill. On December 8th. 1944, the son of the late Herman A. and Mary Gas Jones and twin brother of the late Gary Jones. Husband of and best friend of Gloria G. Jones. Attentive and Loving through his battle with cancer were his children ; Larry D. Jones Jr. and his wife Joyce , Tammy L. Garner and her husband Keith, Diane R. Brown, Joyce E. Jones. Grandchildren; Larry D. ( Trey) Jones III , Tristan S. Jones, Brandon Lewis, Chelsea Garner, Savana Garner, Jessica Lynn and Cris Walker, Joshua D. Lawson,and Crissi Lee Brown. Special cousins Pat and Tom Miller . Larry believed in Christ and the Baptist Faith. He attended House of Prayer Baptist Church in Calhoun. Graveside and interment services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday July 27th. 2006 from the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Cemetery at Red Bud with Rev. Gene Clark and Rev. Andrew Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. today (Wednesday).
