Larry Dutton

Larry Dutton, age 66 of Fairmount and formerly of the Plainville Community, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at his residence. Larry was born on September 12, 1949 in Floyd County to Frances Carter Brown and the late J.C. Dutton. He was a member of Canaanland Christian Center in Adairsville, GA. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Carter and his mother, Mary Ellen "Frances" Dutton Brown on August 11. He is survived by his two sons, Shane Dutton and his wife Tonya of Talking Rock, GA, and Keith Dutton of Plainville; daughter, Stacey Stewart and her husband Ken of Armuchee; two brothers, Jackie Dutton of Sugar Valley, and Danny Dutton of Calhoun; four sisters, Judy Randolph of Shannon, Geraldine Dutton of Calhoun, Kathy Proctor of Shannon, and Dorothy Randolph of Dalton; niece, Rebecca Young; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild also survives. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, August 14th at 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Jackie Dutton and Reverend Roy Smith officiating. Pallbearers serving will be Kim Redd, Tim Redd, Kenny Young, Keith Dutton, Jackie Dutton, Sr. and Jackie Dutton, Jr. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
