Larry C. Black

Larry C. Black, age 82, of Calhoun, passed away Monday December 16th at his residence.

Larry was born on February 21, 1942 in Gordon County, GA, the son of the late Marvin E. Black and Pearl Edwards Black. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by: a daughter, Lisa Black; brother, Max L. Black; and sister, Majorie Davis Daniel.

Larry is survived by: his wife of 61 years, Jean Davenport Black; daughter, Sayre Elizabeth Black; niece, Terry Black; nephews, Chris (Wendy) Black, Scott Black, and Matthew (Lauri) Davis; and several cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 12 PM until 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home. 

Services to celebrate Larry’s life will be conducted on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 2 pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Pastor Don Keele Jr. officiating.
