Larry Walden Balliew

Wednesday, April 09, 2008 Mr. Larry Walden Balliew age 69 of 110 Richardson Rd., Calhoun, died Wednesday morning April 9th. in Redmond Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Larry was born in Gordon County on Nov. 12, 1939 son of the late Bill and Ida Bell Graham Balliew. He was retired from the textile industry and was a Veteran . Survivors include his brothers William (Deacon) Balliew of Calhoun and Thomas (Toby) Balliew of Potter Wisconsin, his sister; Debra Walraven of Calhoun, Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday April 11th. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Ronald, Randy, Coleman and Bobby Balliew, Phillip and Jeff Ruddell and they are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:30 P.M. Friday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Thursday evening.
