Lana Acree Garren

Lana Acree Garren, age 75 of Calhoun, passed away Monday August 12, 2019 at AdventHealth Gordon. Lana was born on May 30, 1944 in Atlanta, GA to the late Samuel Kontz Acree and Helen Elizabeth Morris Acree. Lana raised her four boys on her own and was a strong and hard worker. She was a beautiful and amazing woman. Lana’s family was her world and she loved them very much. Lana is survived by: her four sons, Kevin Cunningham and his wife Rhonda, Keith Cunningham and his wife Robin, Christopher Kit Cunningham and his wife Mari, and Scott Cunningham and his wife Regina; two brothers, Wayne Acree and his wife Paula and Tony Acree; two sisters, Katrina Acree and Gail Webster; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, August 15th at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Blackwood Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are: Noah Cunningham, Dusty Cunningham, Ace Cunningham, Jeff Robertson, Chris Roebuck, and Adam Nation.
