Kenny Dwinell Owen,

Kenny Dwinell Owen II, age 19 of Calhoun, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Kenny was born on December 30, 1993 in Whitfield County. He was the son of Kenny D. Owen, Sr. and Shree Benton. Kenny attended the Rock Bridge Community Church and was a 2012 graduate of Sonoraville High School. He loved his dog Buddy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dwinell and Doris Owen and grandfather, Donald Benton. In addition to his parents, he is survived by: his grandmother, Jean DeSantis; two brothers, Shawn Parker and Dusty Parker and his wife Mandy all of Calhoun. nephews, Davis and Asher Parker also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 27th at 3:30pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Mitchell Crow officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Randall, Terry and Mark Talley will have charge of the music. Cousins will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Sonoraville High School Class of 2012. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 26th from 5 – 8pm at the funeral home.
