Kenneth Lamar Stanley "Kenny"

Mr. Kenneth Lamar Stanley “Kenny”, age 67 of Resaca, passed away Saturday morning June 9th , 2013 at his residence. Kenneth was born March 10th, 1946 in Gordon County, son of the late Robert and Edna Stanley. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Edna Stanley, two sisters; Beatrice Stanley and Thelma Fuller, brother; Leroy Stanley. Survivors include his son Barry Stanley of Resaca, stepson; Scott Chitwood of Resaca, daughter; April Pass of Dalton, six sisters; Pearlie Fuller, Minnie Stiles, Betty (Leroy) Bennett, Pat (Randy) Weeks, Sharon (Dwight) Brock all of Calhoun and Linda (Freddy) Magyari of Stark, FL., four grandchildren; Zane, Macy, Darby Pass, and Zach Chitwood, three great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday June 11th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the Stanley Cemetery in Blue Ridge, GA. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening June 10th, 2013 from 5:00p.m to 8:00p.m. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of North Star Hospice.
