Keith Warmack, age 58 of Fairmount, passed away peacefully at Emory University Hospital on Monday, March 25, 2019 surrounded by family and friends.
Keith was born on November 15, 1960 in Fairmount, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlton Thomas Warmack, in 2006. Keith is survived by his mother, Carol Yancey Warmack of Centre, AL; two sons, Thomas Tucker Warmack of Fairmount, GA, and Paul Anthony Warmack of Florida; two sisters, Carla Warmack and her husband Terry of Cartersville, GA, and Mona L. Warmack Wyatt and her husband Calvin of Fairmount, GA; daughter-in-law, Alisha Warmack three grandchildren, Drake Blackmon, Presley Bierlein, and Thomas M. Warmack; a niece and two nephews, and his caregiver and companion Marisol Mendoza
Keith graduated from Fairmount High School in 1978. He served in the United States Navy from 1986-1992 and was aboard the USS Reuben James during the Persian Gulf War. He was employed by the United States Post Office at the time of his death.
Keith was a gifted writer and artist and played multiple musical instruments at an early age. His passion for music led to numerous gigs over the years with other musicians who shared his vision and enthusiasm. In addition to his one-of-a-kind wit, Keith was blessed with a highly-developed intellect and fierce loyalty to his friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 6 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. George Cobb officiating. Military burial will take place at a later date at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 4 PM until the service hour at 6 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
