Kathryn Marie Worley

Kathryn Marie Worley, age 71 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in Gordon Hospital. Marie was born October 25, 1942 in Murray County, daughter of the late Walter Walls and Dessie Roberts Walls; she was a homemaker and was formerly employed of Harbison Walker Refractories for 30 years and worked part time for Saint Timothy’s Episcopal Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Emmett and Marvin Walls and two brothers in law, Marvin Beavers and Richard Worley. Survivors include her husband, Bill Worley of Calhoun, two sons, Matthew Worley and his wife Tammy of Calhoun and Marc Worley and his wife Teresa of Dawsonville, two brothers, Billy Walls of Dalton and Raymond Walls of Bremen, three sisters, Trilba Beavers, Dorothy Worley, and Linda Reed all of Chatsworth, six grandchildren, Chris Worley and his wife Lynde, Josh Worley, Madison Worley, Connor Worley, Natalie Worley and Ashley Worley, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday February 15th at 2pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Father Louis Tonsmeier and Rev. Brent Davis officiating. Entombment will follow in Fain Cemetery at a later date with Chris Worley, Josh Worley, Brian Worley, Eric Worley, Jason Reed and Seth Reed serving as pallbearers.
