Kathryn Clark

Kathryn Clark, age 80 of Calhoun, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 19, 2016. Kathryn was born on August 30, 1935 in Chickamauga, GA to the late Paul Hamby Williams and Carrie Lee Hurst. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William (Bill) Clark; three sisters, Pauline Williams, Louise Williams, and Bobbie Jo Casey; two brothers, Darrell and Donald Williams. Kathryn attended Faith Worship Center in Calhoun. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Dentmon and her husband Tom of Rome, GA and Vickie Mason and her husband Danny of Buchanan, GA; son, Darrin Clark and his wife Annette of Adairsville, GA; brother, Charles Williams of Calhoun, GA; two sisters, Murtice Long of Calhoun, GA and Doris Lombard and her husband Anthony of Cleveland, TN; three sisters-in-laws, Leah Mae Williams, Martha Williams, and Betty Lewis; brother-in-law Oscar Gravitt; six grandchildren, Kelly Maddox and her husband Andrew, Karrie Kieser and her husband Zach, Dana Cox and her husband Chris, Tangi Dewberry, Cassie Hardin and her husband Chris, and Haley Owens; nine great-grandchildren, Anna Maddox, Eli Kieser, Jazlyn Cox, Ariana Cox, Caleb Lillard, LaDarius Dewberry, LanDree Dewberry, Carissa Hardin and Carleigh Hardin; several nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver, Joan Bailey also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 22nd at 3 PM at Thomas Funeral Home with Anthony Lombard officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dennis Childers in charge of graveside rites. Pallbearers serving include: Chris Cox, Chris Hardin, Andrew Maddox, and Zach Kieser. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 PM until the funeral hour at 3 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
