Katherine Sellers Blankenship

Saturday, November 24, 2007 Mrs. Katherine Sellers Blankenship, age 87, of Fairmount, died Saturday morning November 24th in Ashton Hall Assisted Living in Lawrenceville. Following an extended illness. Mrs. Blankenship was born in Gilmer County January 29, 1920. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sonoraville Baptist Church . Katherine was preceded in death by her husband James Callaway “J.C. Blankenship in July of this year. She is survived by one son, Larry Blankenship and his wife Jean of Lilburn. One daughter, Jane Klinger and her husband David of Lawrenceville. One sister, Clara Faith of East Point,Ga..Two grandchildren, Susan Lockwood of Lilburn and Josh Klinger of Lawrenceville. one great-grandchild, Dylan Lockwood also survives. Funeral services will be conducted Monday November 26th at 11am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Steve Skates officiating. Burial will follow in the Sonoraville Baptist Cemetery.
