Wednesday, March 25, 2009 Mrs. June McEntyre age 74 of Plainville, Ga., died Wednesday March 25th. in Redmond regional Medical Center. June was born in Gordon county on April 30, 1934 daughter of the late William Edgar and Marguerite Mae Floyd Brown and had spent her entire life here. She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Plainville and was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband T.W. McEntyre of Plainville, two sons and daughters-in-law; Brownie and Leisa McEntyre and Trevor W.G. and Rebecca McEntyre all of Plainville, one daughter and son –in-law; Loma and Terry Grisham of Plainville. Grandchildren; Will McEntyre, Grant and Garrett Grisham and Amber McEntyre, great-grandchildren; Drew and Greyson McEntyre and Parker and Peyton Grisham and a lifelong friend Betty Caldwell. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday March 27th. From the Unity Baptist Church with Revs. Eddie Manning and Ted Fuller officiating.Mrs. McEntyre will be taken to the church to lie in state from 12:00 untill the funeral hour. Interment will follow on the Family Farm in Plainville. Pallbearers serving include Will McEntyre, Grant Grisham, Garrett Grisham, Carman Caldwell, Lawrence Richardson, Tim Fuller, Mike Braden and Dow McEntyre and they are asked to meet at the Church at 11:45 A.M. Friday. Honorary Pallbearers; Benny Coulter, Wallace Worthington, Calvin Caldwell, Max Wright and Sam McEntyre and they are asked to meet at the church at 12:45 P.M. Friday at which time the body will be placed in the Church to lie instate until the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening.
