Julian "Bo" Kenneth Medders

Thursday, April 15, 2010 Mr. Julian Kenneth "Bo" Medders age 81 of Resaca, Ga. died Thursday April 15th. in the Rome Specialty Hospital in Rome. Bo was born in Gordon County on August 8, 1928 son of the late Roy Norman and Florine Fox Medders and had spent his lifetime in Gordon County. He was retired from the Carpet Industry as a Salesman; was a Member of the Resaca Church of Christ; and was an Avid Golfer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Roy Norman Medders Jr. Survivors include his wife the Mescal Chitwood Medders of Resaca, two sons; Jule Medders and his wife Joy of Resaca and Bret Medders and his wife Shelley of Calhoun, two daughters; Melea Tennant and her husband Dan of Resaca and India Galyean and her husband Hugh of Resaca, a sister; Gene Wright of Florida, and grandchildren; Macaela Edwards and her husband Tim, Jesse Tennant, Cheyenne Medders, Carson Medders and his wife Megan, Will Medders, Austin Medders, Tess Medders, Ava Galyean, Adrian Galyean and Selah Galyean. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 17th. from the Calhoun Church of Christ with Ministers Frank Mills, and Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery.
