Juanita Miller Fox

Juanita Miller Fox, age 88 of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Gordon Hospital. Juanita was born on May 5, 1927 in Gordon County to the late Herman Miller and Janie Rowland Miller. She was a member of the Calhoun First Baptist Church, Ruth Sunday School Class and the Eastern Star. Juanita was a retired teacher with the Calhoun City School System. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fox; brother, H.J. Miller; and grandson, Michael Fox. She is survived by her four sons, Jeffery Lynn Fox of Corryton, TN, Randell Fox and his wife Cindy of Woodstock, GA, Ronald Dale Fox and his wife Mary of Temple, GA and Brent Fox and his wife Brenda of Calhoun; one daughter, Martha Lanette Kowalski and her husband Paul of Conway, SC; nine grandchildren, Phillip Kowalski, David Kowalski, Lisa Johnson, Robert Fox, Julian Fox, Natalie Fox, Brittany Fox Morrison, Damon Fox and Libby Fox; ten great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, December 11th at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. John Barber and Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Thomas Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Calhoun First Baptist Church Building Fund or the Ruth Sunday School Class.
