Joyce Marie Striblin

Joyce Marie Striblin, age 70 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 in Gordon Hospital. Joyce was born on January 24, 1941 in Fulton County. Daughter of the late James Howard and Beatrice Williams Kile. Joyce was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by; Her husband, Jerry Simpson Striblin. Son, Randy Allen Striblin. Two brothers; James and Charles Kile. And One sister, Fannie Mae Bryant. Survivors include; Two daughters; Connie San Juan and Carolyn Cochran both of Calhoun. Three sisters; Dorothy Thomas of Calhoun, Martha Townsend, and Marsha Hill both of North Carolina. Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00p.m. Sunday, December 11th from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Grandsons and Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00p.m. on Saturday, December 10th at the funeral home.
