Joyce Charlotte Greeson

Monday, October 09, 2006 Mrs. Joyce Bunch Greeson, age 66 of Union Grove Rd., Adairsville, died Sunday evening October 8th. at her residence following an extended illness. Joyce was born in Bartow County on June 23, 1940 daughter of the late Webb and May Bell Wilkey Bunch. She was a member of the Blackwood Springs Baptist Church and until ill health was employed by Crown Craft. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers: Lelton Bunch and Gene Bunch. Survivors include her husband James A. Greeson of 1135 Union Grove Rd., Adairsville, two sisters; Barbara Pulliam of Calhoun and Janice Greeson and her husband Billy also of Calhoun, one brother; Larry Bunch and his wife Jeanell of Calhoun, brothers and sisters-in-law; Roy and Helen Greeson, Evelyn and Lamar Stephens, Nancy Greeson, Elizabeth Greeson, and Mildred Mincey. Several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday October 11th. from the Blackwood Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Connor officiating. Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include; Greg and Lynn Greeson, Todd Mincey, Terry Bunch, Gerald Mashburn and Darrell Bunch and they are asked to meet at the Church at 12:45 P.M. on Wednesday. Honorary escort will be Deacons of Blackwood Baptist Church and Include Terry McDougle, Hugh Greeson, Kenneth Prather, C.J.Dodd, George Finkley, J. B. Green, W.C. Greeson, Melvin Samples and Harold Crump and they are asked to meet at the Church at 1:45 P.M. Wednesday. The body of Mrs. Greeson will be carried to the Church to lie instate from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 2:00 until 4:00 and 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday. Fay Prather, Ronnie Hammontree and Linda Mashburn will have charge of the music.
