Joshua Daniel Dacus

Joshua Daniel Dacus, age 39 of Rome, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Joshua was born on February 20, 1983 in Calhoun, GA, son of William Dacus and Teresa Turner. He worked as an electro-engineer for F&P Georgia Manufacturing. Joshua was a loving and devoted father.

Joshua is survived by: his father, William Dacus of Calhoun, GA; mother, Teresa Turner and her husband Douglas of Rome, GA; his wife, Jillian Dacus of Rome, GA; one son, Elijah Lee Dacus of Rome, GA; one daughter, Abigail Madison Dacus of Rome, GA; three brothers, Justin Dacus of Lansing, MI, William Andrew Dacus of Ithica, MI, and Clifford Dacus of Ithica, MI; three sisters, Sabrina Adcock and her husband Justen of Calhoun, GA, Heavenly Silva and her husband Guy of Fairmont, NC, and Lani Collins of Calhoun, GA; grandparents, Clifford and Carolyn Newman, Martha and Joe Jackson, and Louella Dacus; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Cheyenne Russell officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 4 PM until 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
