Josephine Thompson

Josephine Thompson, age 94 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 in Gordon Health Care. Josephine was born on August 1, 1920 in Akron, Ohio to the late Joseph and Dearia Samaha. She was a member of the Akron Ohio Baptist Church and has been a resident of Calhoun since 1988. She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Beverly Forster and her husband Steve. She is survived by her two sons, Mark Thompson of Charlotte, NC, and James Missick of Maplewood, MN. Memorial Services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 26th at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Mitchell McDougle officiating. In addition to flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Harris Arts Center or the Alzheimer's Association.
