Joseph Michael Moore

Joseph Michael Moore, age 33, of Talking Rock and formerly of Calhoun, died Thursday evening December 1st. Michael was born November 10, 1978 in Whitfield County. Son of Mitchell Moore and Phyllis Jones Davis. Michael attended Calhoun High School, and was employed by TEC of Woodstock, GA. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patricia Moore. Michael was of Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife, Victoria M. Moore of Duluth. His mother, Phyllis J. Davis and her husband Terry of Tunnell Hill. Father, Mitchell Moore and his wife Rita of Calhoun. Two brothers, Brandon Moore of Calhoun and Jason Dickson of Marietta. Two sisters, Letia Moore of Dalton and Misty Parrott and her husband Jason of Calhoun. Grandparents, Charles and Geneva Jones of Adairsville, Joe Moore of Bradenton, Fl., and Ellen Sullivan of Adairsville. Aunts, Donna Bodenheimer of Cedartown, Lisa Welch and her husband Richard of Calhoun, Ginny Anderson and her husband Shane of Calhoun. Uncles, Byron Jones and his wife Lisa of Adairsville and Keith Jones of Adairsville. Nephews, Blaze Dickson of Marietta, and Ty Parrott and Niece Drew of Calhoun and also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday evening December 6th at 6:30pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Bob Trowell and Rev. Jake Trowell officiating. Pallbearers serving include, Brandon Moore, Jason Dickson, Ricky Parker, Jason Parrott, Brandon Jones, Christian Thomason, and Tim Tostolnik. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:30 until the funeral hour.
