Johnnie Mae Shepherd

Johnnie Mae Price Shepherd, age 54 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday morning, September 16, 2013 in Gordon Hospital. Johnnie was born on November 8, 1958 in Floyd County to the late William Hershel Price and Joyce Shirley Price. She was formerly employed by Echota Smokehouse. Survivors include her husband, Randy Shepherd of Calhoun; one son, Michael Shepherd of Calhoun; two brothers, Dale Price and his wife Paulette of Rome, and Howard Price and his wife Brenda of Rome; three sisters, Joann Manning and her husband Johnny of Adairsville, Brenda Redden of Rome, and Kathy Coots and her husband Charlie of Rome; three grandchildren, Devlyn, Erika and Alexander Shepherd; two brothers-in-law, Garry Shepherd, Sr. and his wife Leahann of Calhoun, and Ronald Shepherd and his wife Martha and their son, Ronald Shepherd, Jr. of Calhoun; two nieces, Penny Bradley and her husband Donald, and Sandy Logan and her husband Doug; addition nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 18th at 11:00am from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 17th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home.
