Johnnie Marie Kinman, age 81, of Calhoun passed away Friday afternoon August 29th in Gordon Hospital. Johnnie was born on August 9, 1933 in Gordon County, daughter of the late Amber Edgar Worley and Alice Bell Powell Worley. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and was employed at the A&B Café prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death her brother, Edgar “Roy” Worley and a sister, Callie Blackstock. Survived include her sister; Wilda Withrow, her grandson; Josh James and his wife Kendra, granddaughter; Jessica James Allen all of Calhoun, great-grandchildren; Skyler Spires, Carlie Burk, and Kaylin James, three nieces; Kathy Blackstock of Calhoun Karen Hayes of Rome and Leisa Baggett, two nephews; Colby and Eric Hayes both of Calhoun, great nieces; Sandra and Caitlin Baggett. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday August 31st at 4pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery near Pine Log. Pallbearers serving include; Craig Scoggins, Steve Long, Colby Hayes, Jeremy Allen, John David Mitchell III, and Josh James. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 4 until 8pm.
