John Madison Murray, III

John Madison Murray, III, age 41 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

John was born on May 14, 1980 in Whitfield County, GA, son of Betty Jo Amburgey Murray and the late John Madison Murray, JR.

John is survived by: his mother, Betty Jo Murray Dotson; step-father, Benny Dotson; one sister, Norma Melissa Murray; two nephews, Cody Murray and Ryland Murray; one niece, Sela Murray; and great-niece, Lynden Murray.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend David Hendrick officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

Pallbearers serving include: Jessie Breeding, Pascal Leon Breeding, Charles Rhodes, Wade Long, David Hosker, Andy Mulkey, Randy Mulkey, and Ryan Goss.
