John Daniel Morris

October 26, 2010 John D. Morris, age 53 of Fairmount died at 3:33 PM, Monday, October 25 at his residence. John was born in Atlanta, August 11, 1957, son of the late James Edward Morris, Sr. and Dorothy May McGuyrt, and made his home in Fairmount for ten years. He worked in purchasing and sales at the Chatsworth Auto and Truck Salvage Parts, Inc. John is survived by his wife, Sandra G. Morris of Fairmount, four daughters, Danielle Morris of Conyers, Courtney Malcom of Fairmount, Arianda Del Valle and her husband Santiago of Conyers, and Amanda Jo Morris of Fairmount; three brothers, Thomas W. Morris, Sr. and his wife Marty of Lawrenceville, Justin E. Morris and his wife, Teresa of Fairburn, and G. Nathan Morris of East Point; two sisters, Diane New and her husband Mike and Sandy Meadows both of Lawrenceville; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, October 28 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with David Osten officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Tommy Morris, Sammy Hogan, Santiago Del Valle, Bobby Blankenship, and Randy Steele. They are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:45 PM Thursday.
