John B. Miller

John B. Miller, age 79 of Douglasville, passed away on Saturday, January 30th at his residence. John was born on January 14, 1937 in Acworth, GA to the late Lewis Miller and Dawn Ledford Miller. He was a long time builder and developer in Douglas County and Baton Rouge Louisiana. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and member of Heritage Baptist Church of Douglasville. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Miller; three sisters, Dorothy Harris, Estelle Mullins and Ada Miller; and two brothers, Virgil Miller and Clarence Miller. Survivors include his wife Dot Charles Miller of Douglasville; two daughters, Denene Wallace and her husband Greg of Douglasville, and Cherie Kelley and her husband Dale of Douglasville; two grandchildren, Lauren Kelley and Nicholas Kelley; and two brothers, Herbert Miller of Ranger, and Claude Miller of Fairmount also survive. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Thursday, February 4th at 1:00 PM from Heritage Baptist Church of Douglasville with Reverend Gene Fields, Mr. Guy Moore and Reverend Cecil Clegg officiating.
