Saturday, October 18, 2008 Mr. John Carroll Berry, age 57, of Calhoun and formally of Mt. Olive, MS. passed away Saturday October 18th at his home and went to be with the Lord following an extended illness. John was born January 2, 1951, son of the late L.H. and Zella Mae Berry of Mt. Olive. He was a member of the Meadowdale Baptist Church and was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Air Force. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Larry Berry and a nephew Robbie Minter. Survivors include his wife, Annette Langston Frady Berry; son and daughter in law, John S. and Tiffany Berry of Temple, Texas; stepson and daughter in law, Ty and Natasha Frady of Sugar Valley; sister and brother in law, Brenda and Bob Bullard of Calhoun; sister Dianne Hart of Calhoun; sister and brother in law, Mary and Russell Coulter of Bassfield. MS.; Brother and sister in law, Doug and Michelle Berry of Mendenhall, MS.; brother, Mike Berry of Bassfield, MS.; brother, Danny Berry of Brandon, MS.; three grandchildren, Caden and Macey Berry of Temple, Texas, and Ayson Frady of Sugar Valley. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services will be conducted Monday October 20th at 1pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Dr. Steven Pearson, Rev. Danny Berry, and Rev. Brian Holland officiating. The family will receive friends Monday morning from 11 am until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Mary and Martha Food Closet, % Meadowdale Baptist Church, P.O. Box 819, Calhoun, Georgia,30703, or to the American Cancer Society.
