Joe Murphy Woodall,

Joe Murphy Woodall, Jr., age 57, of Calhoun. Passed away Friday morning February 17th in Floyd Medical Center. Joe was born May 18, 1954 in Wilmington, North Carolina. Son of the late Joe M. Woodall, Sr. and Geneva MacManus Woodall. He was a member of the Calhoun First Baptist and was employed by Resolution Trust as a computer analyst. Joe received his undergraduate education at Berry College, B.A; graduate education at the Medical College of Georgia; and additional graduate work at Georgia State University in actuarial science. He is survived by his sister, Joan Hudson and her husband Al of Norcross. Funeral services will be conducted Monday February 20th at 4pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. John Bledsoe officiating.Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Calhoun First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Monday from 2pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
