Joann Ledford Turner

Joann Ledford Turner, age 44, of Sugar Valley, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Gordon Hospital. Joann was born August 25, 1970 in Bartow County. She was the daughter of Linda Southern Ledford and the late James Andrew “Dock” Ledford. Besides her father she was preceded in death by her cousin, Tammy Burnette. She was survived by her common law husband, Danny Turner of Sugar Valley, mother, Linda Ledford of Calhoun, two sons, Nicholas Gage Turner and Christian Turner both of Sugar Valley, step-daughter, Tiffany Thompson of Chatsworth, one brother, Michael Ledford and his wife Sandra of Calhoun, one sister, Charlotte Turner and her husband Jimmy of Calhoun, half-sister, Lisa Welch of Ball Ground, five nieces and nephews, Dawson, Dayton, Destiny, Isaac, and Lee. Two special cousins, Braylynn Young and Jennifer Beaver and four special friends, Tammy Patton, Susie Porter, Tonya and Adam Vondenburger. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, December 23rd at 1pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Delmer Ledford officiating. Burial took place in the Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers serving were, Chris Fowler, Chris Cochran, Willard Southern, Dustin Southern, Robert Southern, Frankie Southern, and William Worth.
