Joan D. Roebuck

Joan D. Roebuck, age 80 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at her residence. Joan was born on January 16, 1941 in Gordon County, GA, daughter of the late Alton Dempsey and Bessie Goode Dempsey. In addition to her parents, Joan was also preceded in death by her husband, Doug Roebuck, and brother, Dale Dempsey. Joan was a lifetime resident of Gordon County, GA and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement, she worked for the State of Georgia as a social worker. Joan is survived by one daughter, Angela Roebuck of Calhoun; two sons, Chris Roebuck and Steve Roebuck; eight grandchildren, Jessica Murphy, Nikki Dills, Chelsie Roebuck, T.J. Roebuck, Erika Roebuck, Tyler Roebuck, Adrienne Roebuck, and David Shelton; eight great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kaley, Adelyn, Carson, Sadie, Oliver, Kennedy, and Emmett; sister, Barbara Densmore; and sister-in-law, Katherine Dempsey.
