Jo Ruth Taylor

Jo Ruth Taylor, age 80 of Ranger, GA, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Assured Hospice Care in Cartersville, GA. Jo was born on March 9, 1940 in Gadsden, AL, daughter of the late Curtis Marker and Vera Edwards Marker. In addition to her parents, Jo was also preceded in death by: her husband, Charles Taylor; and a son, Donald Taylor. She was of the Baptist faith. Jo is survived by: her sons, David Taylor of Mobile, AL, Danny Taylor of Alabama; two sisters, Mary Brown of Chatsworth, GA and Glenda Warren of Marietta, GA; sister-in-law, Shelba Marker of Ranger, GA; special nieces, Tammy Zontek of Ranger, GA, Melody Wallace of Ranger, GA, Randy Marker of Mississippi; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 2 PM at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Ranger, GA with Chaplain Tim Baird in charge of graveside rites.
