Jo Allen Casey

Jo Allen Casey, age 90 of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in Heritage Healthcare at Shepherd Hills. Jo was born on January 15, 1923 in Marshall County, AL. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Allen and Alice Corbin Allen. She was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Casey, three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include: her son, Earl Casey and his wife Ann of Calhoun; two daughters, Peggy Mauldin and her husband Kemp of Calhoun and Lea Ann Sentell; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, July 26th at 11:00am from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. John Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 25th from 5:00 until 7:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Casey family for final expenses.
